Otsu Live ("Otsu Live", "we", "us" or "the Company") is a live-streaming and social app. These Terms apply when you use the Otsu Live app or our website, otsulive.com.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is accurate.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → ☰ → Settings & Privacy → Delete Account) or on our website at /delete-account.
You agree that you will not use the Service to broadcast, upload, or transmit any content that includes, but is not limited to:
• Nudity and Sexual Content: Any depiction of nudity, explicit sexual acts, sexually suggestive behavior, or pornography.
• Illegal Activity: Any conduct that violates local, state, federal, or international laws, or promotes illegal substances, violence, or fraud.
• Safety Violations: Harassment, hate speech, or endangerment of minors.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, to permanently ban, temporarily freeze, or suspend any account that violates these guidelines or Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.
A freeze is a temporary 24-hour pause on your ability to go live. While frozen you can still use the rest of Otsu Live, and the freeze lifts automatically. A ban is permanent: a banned account can only log in to view and download its own photos.
Streamers can delete messages and block users from their chat. Anyone can report a stream or message. We review reports and may remove content or end streams that break these Terms.
Live streams are public: anyone watching can see and hear them. When a live stream is reported, up to about 10 minutes of it may be recorded so our safety team can review it (see the Privacy Policy). A stream ends automatically after 12 hours (you can start a new one right away), and after 15 minutes on a "Be right back" pause.
The app features virtual currency, including but not limited to "Tokens" (shown in the app as "Coins") and "Gifts" (collectively, "Virtual Items"). These Virtual Items represent a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access specific features of the app and possess no cash value outside the platform.
If your account is banned or terminated due to a violation of these Terms—specifically including instances of nudity, sexual activity, or illegal conduct—ANY AND ALL ACCUMULATED VIRTUAL ITEMS, TOKEN BALANCES, AND PENDING GIFT PAYOUTS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY FORFEITED. You acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to any refund, reimbursement, or cash monetization for forfeited Virtual Items.
A temporary freeze does NOT forfeit anything: if your account is frozen, you keep all of your Tokens, Gifts and earnings, and they remain available when the freeze ends. Payouts of earnings may be held while an account is frozen or under review.
By using this Service, you expressly agree to waive any right to seek legal recourse, file lawsuits, or initiate arbitration against the Company, its founders, or its affiliates resulting from the suspension of your account or the forfeiture of your virtual balance due to a terms violation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your termination from the platform.
Otsu Live is provided "as is". We cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
You own what you stream and post. By posting on Otsu Live you give us permission to host, show and send that content so the app can work. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
Only post photos, videos and streams that you own or have permission to use. If you believe something on Otsu Live infringes your copyright, send a notice through the form at Settings & Privacy → Copyright (DMCA), or on our website at /dmca. You can also email copyright questions to dmca@otsulive.com. Complete notices are acted on automatically and the content is removed.
If your content is removed, you will get an email with a link to send a counter-notice if you believe it was a mistake. Unless the person who filed the claim tells us they have gone to court, the content is restored after 10-14 business days.
Each removal that is not reversed counts as a copyright strike. Accounts with 3 strikes can no longer post photos, change their profile picture or go live, and repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated. Photos removed for copyright cannot be posted again.
We may update these Terms. If we make important changes we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Otsu Live after changes means you accept them.
